With changes to Government policy in relation to student finance arrangements and higher education funding, and the timing of confirmation on the fine detail of these changes, many universities may be delayed in planning their course provision for 2012 entry.
This has affected the collection of information used within the UCAS Big Guide. Following feedback from many advisers, UCAS has taken the decision to suspend production of both the Big Guide book & Entry Requirements CD Rom for 2012 entry. UCAS will be assessing the future of both products within the context of a range of improvements to the provision of information and advice to all stakeholders, parents and applicants.
In the meantime, we will be working closely with customers who have an interest in the Big Guide & CD Rom products to establish how we can best meet their information provision needs in this coming year, and for 2013 entry and beyond. Our focus is, and continues to be, on ensuring we are able to publish accurate course information for applicants.
To register your interest in receiving updates about our information and advice provision, and to be involved in forthcoming surveys please go to www.ucas.com/bigguidereview where you will be able to provide your name and email address.
You can also email bigguidereview@ucas.ac.uk with any comments or questions about the publications.
